Our Strength & Shield

The Word of God: the Bible provides encouragement in every page that's read. But, because sometimes we stray away, we begin to forget His Word to us.

How can we fix that? Simple. Come back to it. Begin reading His message to His people (His children) and you'll be amazed.

The Lord wants us to always be connected to Him because He loves us and wants only the best for us.

When we stay connected to Him things that we face daily are dealt with in a much peaceful way. (Yes, even when bad things happen.)

When we call on Him, He totally acknowledges that soft cry or maybe that loud cry.

As you begin your day, get into His Word: the Bible and enjoy His fellowship. Speak back as He speaks to you through His Word. Ask Him questions. Anything.

King David said...
Blessed be the Lord,
Because He has heard the voice of my supplications!
The Lord is my strength and my shield;
My heart trusted in Him, and I am helped;
Therefore my heart greatly rejoices,
And with my song I will praise Him
-Psalms 28:6-7 NKJV

Losing Strength?

Wait on the Lord; Be of good courage, And He shall strengthen your heart; Wait, I say, on the Lord.
                                       -Psalms 27:14 NKJV
Another great promise from the Lord to protect and deliver those who seek Him.

King David begins Psalm 27 by stating "The Lord is my light and my salvation; Whom shall I fear The Lord is the strength of my life; Of whom shall I be afraid."1

Although David was going through many trials, he was super confident that our Lord God was with him.

As believers and followers of Jesus Christ, we must apply this truth and promise to our lives also so that we can become super confident and productive for the Glory of God.

Yes, at times, we're going to get hit on all sides and we're going to become tired of life itself, but we have to keep moving along.

Like a warrior, we need to get up and move forward. Our Lord understands and loves us; He will strengthen each and everyone one of us who calls on Him. David totally understood this because of the relationship he had with God.

If you've been lacking fellowship with the Lord stop that today and begin new fellowship with Him afresh.

He will instill good courage in you and strengthen your heart as you wait on Him.

Blessings!

Shout with joy to the Lord, all the earth!
Worship the Lord with gladness.

Come before him, singing with joy.
Acknowledge that the Lord is God!

He made us, and we are his.
We are his people, the sheep of his pasture.

Enter his gates with thanksgiving; go into his courts with praise. Give thanks to him and praise his name. For the Lord is good.

His unfailing love continues forever, and his faithfulness continues to each generation

-Psalms 100:1-5 NLTse

Thank you Heavenly Father for allowing us another day of life so that we can be a light to our families, friends, and anyone we may come in contact with today.

Use us to be that example of you that many or even just that one person may come to know you today.

In Jesus' Name!

Why are you thankful today?

Who Is Your Leader?

The Lord leads with unfailing love and faithfulness all who keep his covenant and obey his demands.
-Psalms 25:10 NLT
Who is leading your way today?

Here is another promise, among may from the Lord, that encourages the believer to serve Him without fear. Additionally, to not fear anything that is going on in the world.

Why? Because the Lord is leading our way with unfailing love and faithfulness.

This is a promise to those who keep His covenant and obey His demands.
So be strong and courageous! Do not be afraid and do not panic before them. For the Lord your God will personally go ahead of you. He will neither fail you nor abandon you.
-Deuteronomy 31:6 NLT
Let Him lead your way today.

How Amazing He Is!

How amazing to know that the earth is the Lord’s, and the fulness thereof; the world. [1]

How encouraging it is to know that those who dwell therein [1] are His also.

How amazing to become fully aware that God the Father so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son to die for us that we may live. [2]

How awesome it is to know that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life [2] with Him in eternity.

Help us Father, those who have believed in you, to be that example of You here on earth that Your name may be glorified and whosoever will come to know You this day.

Help us Father, those who have believed in you, to see whosoever with Your eyes and speak to whosoever with Your words today.

In Jesus’ name!
1 The earth is the Lord's, and the fulness thereof; the world, and they that dwell therein
-Psalms 24:1

2 16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life
-John 3:16
