Warrior Generation!

Another great time at Warrior this morning! Everyone showed up ready for action. Dustin brought some eggs and potatoes to munch on which were great.

(Although he claims to have made this breakfast, I still think Maria his wife made it ;) )

At this meeting, Gabriel took the lead and expounded from Genesis chapter four through six verse five. Gabriel brought forth some great insight and afterward we all discussed the Word and message presented. Great job!

For those of you who call on the Lord, please pray for these young warriors for Christ. Ask our Father to make them strong and courageous and not lose their zeal for Him.

Also, be that example of Jesus to all those young men and women that you come in contact with. Take 'em under your wing and teach and encourage them in-Christ. They are the next generation of believers.

"One generation shall praise Your works to another, And shall declare Your mighty acts."
-Psalms 145:4 NKJV

Building Up The Next Generation for Christ!

WARRIOR was awesome this morning. Joseph took us verse by verse from Genesis chapter one through chapter four verse ten.

I was so amazed and encouraged, and I also learned something I had never realized from the Word of God.

I wanted to jump for joy as I was seeing, first hand, the Lord using this young bro expounding His Word, but I refrained. (I didn't want the gents to think I was wacked out.)

Nonetheless, the morning was awesome, and I look forward to meeting again with these young warriors for Christ.

So what happened? What am I talking about?

I am getting together on Saturday mornings at 5am for a period of one year with a few guys for the purpose of building 'em up for the work of God. Specifically, to gain confidence in sharing the Word of God to believers and unbelievers alike regardless of setting.

In addition, during this year period, we are going to go on outings that pertain to sharing and living out the gospel.

Each bro is assigned a Saturday to share and teach what he has learned from that week's reading. Each bro is also assigned a month in which he will lead an outing, from beginning to end, such as going to a location for us to street witness, feed the homeless or anything that pertains to sharing and living out the gospel.

We will be doing this for one year. During this time, not only will we become close in brotherhood, but it will also provide confidence in sharing the Word of God with others.

Simply living out what David said in Psalm 145: 4:

"One generation shall praise Your works to another,
And shall declare Your mighty acts." (NKJV)

To God be the Glory! Stay Strong!

Why Be Unhappy When You Can Be Happy?

Blessed are the undefiled in the way,
who walk in the law of the Lord.
-Psalms 119:1

Many people are unhappy walking through the daily grind of life, but this does not have to be the case.

How can this be so you may ask? By giving your self up to the Lord by way of Jesus who died for your sins and mine.

After you've surrendered your life to Him, begin praying and reading His Word, the Bible. After that, apply what you've read into your daily grind.

Soon, you will begin to notice that your daily grind is no longer coarse or rough but smooth.

The promise of happiness in our life is all over the Bible if we walk purely in His path. If we follow His commands.

The awesome thing about the Lord's promises is that He doesn't break them like we do.

Side Note: Yes, I know that life isn't going to be perfect. Life may bring forth very rough times some times, but when you have Jesus and you are totally relying on Him to lead the way, you can't help to be happy.

Let's abide by His promises today and not stray from His path.
