Colossians 3:8 Anger, Wrath, Malice, Blasphemy & Filthy Language

But now you yourselves are to put off all these: anger, wrath, malice, blasphemy, filthy language out of your mouth. Colossians 3:8Whoa! what is this? Didn’t Paul already say to us to put to death those things that pertain to the world like fornication, uncleanness, passion, evil desire and covetousness? Why is he adding more things to the list?
Well we know that the Bible is written by men who were divinely inspired by God. Paul was one of these men, and so he is relaying the message to us from God our Father.

Many words written in scripture are repeated more than once so when this happens we need to pay extra attention.

A college class that I was enrolled in had a professor who said “if you hear me say something more than once, you better make sure to make note of it because its likely to be on the test”.

The same applies when you read the same statement more than once in the Bible. We need to make note of it, and keep it in mind so that when times of testing arrive, we know what to do.
