Let Your Heart Be Glad

Seek the Lord and Rejoice
"Glory in His holy name; Let the hearts of those rejoice who seek the LORD! Seek the LORD and His strength; Seek His face evermore!" -Psalm 105:3-4
Have no doubt at all that when you seek the Lord with all your heart you are going to enter the path of peace and comfort that'll cause you to rejoice in Him. No other emotion will you experience.

The key is to come before our God with a true heart and zero doubt. Totally allowing Him to overtake you.

Yes, seek His strength with all your heart and He will provide you with strength to overcome the battles in life.

Yes, Seek His strength with all your heart so that you can rejoice and praise Him when things go well.
15 Blessed are the people who know the joyful sound!
They walk, O Lord, in the light of Your countenance.
16 In Your name they rejoice all day long,
And in Your righteousness they are exalted.
17 For You are the glory of their strength,
And in Your favor our horn is exalted. -Psalm 89:15-17 NKJV
In Jesus' Name!

Have a great day!

Your Sleep Will Be Sweet!

Sleep Peacefully

What peace you have when you trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding, and in all your ways acknowledge Him.

You will receive the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, and it will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.

This is super cool because then at night you will lie down and you will not be afraid;
Yes, you will lie down and your sleep will be sweet.

Blessings sis's and bro's. Sleep well and be at peace with Jesus on your mind!

"Trust in the Lord with all your heart, And lean not on your own understanding; In all your ways acknowledge Him, And He shall direct your paths." -Proverbs 3:5-6 NKJV
"and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus." -Philippians 4:7 NKJV
"When you lie down, you will not be afraid; Yes, you will lie down and your sleep will be sweet. -Proverbs 3:24

Church Up

Church Up

Good morning family! It's Sunday and I'm sitting out here in my front yard checking out the beauty of the morning. The beauty of our Lord! What a great day to live and celebrate our Lord with other believers at church.

Bros and siss. Let's get up and go encourage someone at our fellowship. Let's be a blessing and totally allow God to use us to bless someone today.
"Therefore encourage one another and build each other up..."
-1 Thessalonians 5:11 NIV

Are You Going to Sleep Well Tonight?

Are You Going to Sleep Well Tonight-

I read a Bible verse last week which spoke to me so powerfully that I knew I had to write it on the tablet of my heart (i.e. memorize it). I even sent it out to my family that morning and asked them to memorize it with me.

That morning the Lord was already speaking to my heart about what would happen that evening and the evening after that (and after that, ongoing) if I simply abide in Him.
The passage He showed me is Psalms 4:8 which reads
"I will both lie down in peace, and sleep;
For You alone, O Lord, make me dwell in safety."
The Lord spoke to me as He does many times that if I simply abide in Him and seek Him first above anything else, He will provide me with peace and comfort within.
You can tie the Psalms 4:8 passage with Matthew 6:33. Guess what that one says? You're right. It says to
"seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you."
Do you ever experience nights where you just can't sleep because you are worried about something? Or, you're stressed out over the day's events or what's about to happen the next day?

I have good news for you. Something that will help you sleep well tonight.

1) First and foremost, seek the Lord and His righteousness [1]

2) Do not worry at all [2]

And, the outcome will be a peaceful sleep, guaranteed [3]

Stay Strong. Pray, Read, Apply. No Compromise!

[1] But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you. Matthew 6:33

[2] Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about its own things. Sufficient for the day is its own trouble. Matthew 6:34

[3] I will both lie down in peace, and sleep; For You alone, O Lord, make me dwell in safety. Psalm 4:8

Communication with God

Change of Attitude
I was having a conversation with someone about fellowship with the Lord on a daily basis.
The person I was speaking with told me "Yes, I pray once a day in the evening."

I thought that was cool, but the Lord actually wants us to be in fellowship with Him all the day long.

He is not saying stop everything and sit or kneel and close your eyes and start praying non-stop. He is saying that we constantly keep Him in mind and converse with Him as we go about.

Two solid things happen when we do this:

1) Our relationship with the Lord becomes stronger and we are kept in check as we consider our actions based on Him

2) His Word is being applied into our daily life.

Begin doing what God wants you to do then you will notice a great change in your attitude and daily venture in life.
"It is good to give thanks to the Lord,
And to sing praises to Your name, O Most High; To declare Your lovingkindness in the morning, And Your faithfulness every night"
-Psalm 92:1-2 NKJV
"Rejoice always, pray without ceasing, in everything give thanks; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.
-1 Thessalonians 5:16-18 NKJV
In Jesus' Name!
Have a great day bro's and sis's and stay strong.
