TCH Memory Verse of the Week

Join us as we venture into memorizing scripture once a week, one passage at a time. The Bible says to "write them on the tablet of your heart."

Part of our weekly Bible study at the Cobbler House, is to take a passage of scripture that pertains to the lesson and put it to memory.

As believers, putting scripture to memory helps us in many ways such as:

-It builds up our personal relationship with our Heavenly Father.

-It prepares us to recall scripture when we don't have our Bible with us.
-It helps us when we are witnessing to an unbeliever about Jesus and much more.

Hope you can join us in this!

Ok, so this week's memory verse is James 1:2-4:
"2 My brethren, count it all joy when you fall into various trials, 3 knowing that the testing of your faith produces patience. 4 But let patience have its perfect work, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking nothing."
God bless you. Stay Strong in Christ!

1 My son, do not forget my law, But let your heart keep my commands; 2 For length of days and long life And peace they will add to you. 3 Let not mercy and truth forsake you; Bind them around your neck, Write them on the tablet of your heart, 4 And so find favor and high esteem In the sight of God and man.
Proverbs 3:1-4 (NKJV)

5 Get wisdom, get understanding; do not forget my words or turn away from them.
Proverbs 4:5 (NIV)

2 Keep my commands and live, And my law as the apple of your eye. 3 Bind them on your fingers; Write them on the tablet of your heart.
Proverbs 7:2-3 (NKJV)
