STAY STRONG!

Image
"Therefore, my beloved brothers, be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that in the Lord your labor is not in vain." -1 Corinthians 15:58 (ESV)
Brothers and sisters in Christ. Be encouraged in any and all work you do that is good and pleasing to our Heavenly Father even though you may think it is not producing any results.
Remember, it is our Heavenly Father who is going to do according to His will and timing, not ours.
Remember, that all is done for His glory (not ours) and thus our labor is not in vain. Again, something is going to happen according to His will and timing. (See Isaiah 55:10-11.)
So stand firm in Christ and don't waver. Keep pushing forward in the work of the Lord, our Heavenly Father. "So neither he who plants nor he who waters is anything, but only God who gives the growth." -1 Corinthians 3:7 (ESV)Stay Strong!

Willing Hearts. Not Robots.

Do you have the desire to be of service to our Heavenly Father?
If you do, I would encourage you to act upon that desire as the Holy Spirit is prompting you to action.
As Christians, we are called to action and together we form the one body of Christ unto service to our LORD.
In Exodus thirty-five, we read about the details of the construction of the tabernacle, and how the people were called to provide offerings and service to complete this divinely inspired task. A task that would bring forth a representation of God to those chosen by Him and to everyone else.
Although the LORD commands us to do certain things for our own safety and well being, for this task He allowed the people to choose (to make a decision from their own heart) to serve or not. It was not a command.
Below are just a few examples that the LORD did not/does not desire robots to carry out His plan, but rather, willing hearts. All whose hearts were stirred and whose spirits were moved* came and brought their sacred offeri…

MVotW James 3:17

Hey everyone! I hope everyone is doing well. This week's memory verse speaks of the wisdom sent forth to us from our Heavenly Father.
His Word cleanses us (pure).
His Word brings us peace (peaceable).
His Word is kind to us (gentle).
His Word makes us think and ask questions (willing to yield).
His Word is full of mercy and brings forth goodness (mercy and good fruits).
His Word is real and true. Not fake. (without hypocrisy).
His Word relays to us our Heavenly Father's wisdom.
As we read the His Word daily, His wisdom fills our heart.
Then, our heart (full of His wisdom) brings forth a person who is ready to live out the gospel.
Heavenly Father, show us Your way and help us to apply Your way into our daily life that we may be a light, of You, to all whom we come in contact with.
Stay Strong!

Rest In The Midst Of...

Image
And He said, “My Presence will go with you, and I will give you rest.” -Exodus 33:14 (NKJV)
Moses was already experiencing a close walk with God, yet he still needed reassurance from Him.

Take a look at Moses' prayer to God:
"You have said, I know you by name, and you have also found grace in My sight.’ Now therefore, I pray, if I have found grace in Your sight, show me now Your way, that I may know You and that I may find grace in Your sight." -Exodus 12b-13 (NKJV)Moses starts off by stating what God had already promised him then he goes on to say if that is true then show me now Your way, that I may know you...

Moses was a mere human being who was used by God.

He made mistakes, was disobedient at times, and sometimes wanted to do things his own way, yet he always came back to God for guidance; Moses knew there was no other way but God's way.

In the midst of our daily activities, it is good to stop like Moses did and ask our Heavenly Father to show us His way that we may…
