You Are Not Alone Even When You Are Alone

Believer! Did you know that the Holy Spirit...

...is our Helper (John 14:16).
In time of need, guidance in scripture, needed wisdom or any type of assistance, we can call on Him for help1.

...will abide with the believer forever (John 14:16).
If you have truly repented of your sin and given your self over to our Heavenly Father you are in dwelt with the Holy Spirit forever and are saved from hell2. He will never leave you nor forsake you3. Salvation is irreversible.

...is Truth (John 14:17).
"that which is true or in accordance with fact or reality" says the online dictionary. That's who the Holy Spirit is. He is never to be compared with the father of lies4 which is satan.

...cannot be received by the world because it neither sees Him nor knows Him (John 14:17).
If you have not repented and turned your life over to Jesus (i.e. become born again5) then all of this is foolishness6 to you. You will neither see Him nor know Him. (If you'd like to know more about becoming born again, message me in the comments below.)

...is known by the believer because He dwells in us and is in us (John 14:17).
As stated above, the Holy Spirit lives within the believer, and you will know7 He is within you. How do I know? Some examples are change of lifestyle, words you used before are not being used anymore and conviction when you do what is not right in our Heavenly Father's eye's.

...is sent to the believer in the name of Jesus (John 14:26).
By way of Jesus is the only way one can receive the Holy Spirit. Jesus is the Way, the Truth and the Life8.

...teaches all things and helps us to remember all things that Jesus has spoken to us (John 14:26).
Take advantage of the Holy Spirit living in you. Our Heavenly Father wants us to9. Take this earthly example: it's like having your own personal tutor with you at all times. At any time, you can ask Him questions, as many questions as you'd like10 all the way until you die. (And, there is no fee.)

It's awesome to know that we are not left to our own devices to deal with the storms of life and to rejoice alone when life is going well.
