Prayer is Crucial

Prayer is crucial in the life of the believer. Prayer keeps us in communication with our Heavenly Father and builds up our relationship with Him.

If you've been saved and born again and are not praying, start today.

If you don't know how to pray, don't worry and do not let that stop you.

Simply use the guideline, provided by Jesus, to His disciples and us:
"Pray then like this: “Our Father in heaven, hallowed be your name. Your kingdom come, your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our debts, as we also have forgiven our debtors. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil." -Matthew 6:9-13 (ESV)
Don't overthink prayer. Just begin talking to our Heavenly Father from your heart.

Reference the passage of scripture above going line by line if needed. I used to do that and I still do at times.

As you are praying, you may begin to wonder if you are doing it right. Again, don't worry. The Holy Spirit's got you covered.

The Bible says:
"In the same way, the Spirit helps us in our weakness. We do not know what we ought to pray for, but the Spirit himself intercedes for us through wordless groans." -Romans 8:26 (NIV)
See. You/me/us are covered all around. We can't mess up prayer.

Our Heavenly Father wants us to fellowship with Him 1, and He is not worried about how you speak or articulate words so you and I need not worry either.

Begin praying today and keep on praying always 2.

In Jesus' Name!
