C.H. Prayer Table :: Saturday, December 29, 2018

We had a super great time praying for and encouraging people who came by the prayer table this past Saturday.

One cool thing about the prayer table is that those whom we minister to willingly stop by our setup location.

Then, after listening to their story and before we begin praying, we make sure to tell them we are praying in the name of Jesus Christ.

This opens up a conversation that leads to being able to share the gospel of Salvation in Jesus Christ.

This time a gentleman came up and opened up with his story and by the end of the conversation our brother Mario led him to Jesus.

I am amazed every time in regards to our Heavenly Father's timing and planning.

At every prayer table event that we have, the Lord provides just enough of us, for the amount of people that show up on that given morning.

A few of us showed up this time and so the Lord sent us a lot of people to minister to.

One of the bros., Jorge, who never comes by due to other commitments on Saturday mornings actually came this time.

And wouldn't you know it. The Lord's perfect timing went into affect.

Our Heavenly Father led a young sister-in-Christ who was passing by the prayer table in her vehicle to make a u-turn and come back to the table.

She parked and walked straight to our group (we had two groups ministering to people) and told us that she wanted us to pray for her fourteen and twelve year old relatives who were diagnosed with cancer.

(Since we started the prayer table no one has ever come up to ask for prayer for someone who has cancer.)

The Lord's perfect timing allowed Jorge, whose little boy Roman passed due to cancer, to minister to this young lady.

Our Heavenly Father even added details to this ministering opportunity as we found out that her fourteen year old relative is currently being treated at the same exact location that Jorge's little Roman was treated at.

(I was amazed and still am, as I write this, of the Lord's handy work which came into light in front of our very own eyes.)

The young woman expressed her thanks to us for us calling on the Lord on her behalf and thankful to the Lord that she came back to the prayer table.

If you are a believer and you haven't opened up to the Lord to use you in ministry, I encourage you to do so today, this second.

Not only is it awesome to serve our Heavenly Father, but it is also a blessing to minister to others and to ultimately be ministered to also.
